UT student smilingScholarships & Awards

Earning a college degree from The University of Toledo is one of the best and most important investments you can make, and we’re dedicated to helping every student who wants a UT education afford one.

Current UT Students
If you are a current UT student (not including post-secondary students) please review the scholarships for current students in
the Scholarships and Awards Guide.

Direct from High School Students
We have a new DHS scholarship program for 2008. It's so new that we don't have the Web page for it finished, but please download the DHS scholarship program for details until we do!

New Adult and Transfer Student Scholarships

If you are a new Adult or Transfer student please review the scholarships that you are eligible to receive.  You can also download the scholarship information.

Information available here.

Other areas on campus such as academic colleges and divisions also offer scholarships and awards to new students. Check out our scholarships and awards guide to see what else you may be eligible for. Note: Scholarships and awards not offered through the Office of Undergraduate Admission are not part of the Triple Pledge program.
bullet image Outside Scholarships-- No single deadline
This year UT students are bringing more than $1,600,000 in scholarships to the University from outside sources. As you might expect, a successful search for outside scholarships is going to take initiative and effort on your part, along with knowing where to look.

A word of caution: The Federal Trade Commission has launched efforts to combat scholarship search scams. While there certainly are legitimate scholarship search companies, we wouldn't want you wasting time, and money, on a fraud. Remember: if you must pay money to get money, make sure you know it's a worthwhile investment.

And while we aren't endorsing any of the following companies, here are links to free, on-line scholarship searches to help you get started. Happy hunting!
