Recent High School Graduates These scholarships and awards are available to domestic undergraduate students with less than 15 semester (22 quarter) hours of transfer credit taken after high school, who have been out of high school for 1-3 years (high school graduating classes of 2003, 2004 & 2005). |

Transfer Students Unless otherwise specified, to be considered for these scholarships and awards, you must submit a completed and signed UT application for admission, $40 nonrefundable admission application fee, and official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. Any additional application requirements are noted in the scholarship/award descriptions.
Award: $8,800 per year for full-time enrollment Minimum Requirements: Minimum college or high school GPA of 2.75 or 21 ACT or 980 SAT combined reading and math score of 500 GED; full-time enrollment. Permanent address is outside of Ohio or Monroe County, Michigan. Additional Documentation Required: A FAFSA is encouraged but not required. Undergraduates with bachelor’s degrees are not eligible for this award. Renewal Requirements: Minimum 2.75 GPA and 30 credit hours each academic year. In most instances, the maximum length for this award is eight consecutive semesters, not to exceed five consecutive calendar years or completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first.
Award: Variable award up to $8,000 per year. This selective award will be given to top students transferring to UT based on GPA, curriculum, and financial need. Preference is given to honor society members. Funding for this scholarship is limited, competitive, and selective. Minimum Requirements: 3.5 cumulative college GPA and 30 or more semester hours of transfer credit; transferring from a 2-year or 4-year institution. Undergraduates with bachelor’s degrees are not eligible for this award. Additional Documentation Required: The FAFSA is required for need-based awards. Proof of honor society membership (if applicable). Renewal Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA and 30 credit hours each academic year. Award: $1,000 per year; stackable with other scholarships/awards with the exception of the Prestige Transfer Scholarship. Minimum Requirements: 3.75 cumulative college GPA, Phi Theta Kappa membership and full-time enrollment. Undergraduates with bachelor’s degrees are not eligible for this award. Additional Documentation Required: Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership. Renewal Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA and 30 credit hours each academic year. In most instances, the maximum length for this award is four semesters, not to exceed two consecutive calendar years or completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first.
